I really hate to pile on the guy because he catches more than his share of crap from the Twins blogging community. But I can’t think of anyone who goes down with the bat on his shoulder more than Nick. I know the “sliding in to first base” thing is what aggravates a lot of people, but he could do that every time, as far as I’m concerned, if he’d just start swinging the bat with 2 strikes more.
