Written by Well after seeing Justin and Delmon come back for their first appearances of the spring yesterday, we get to see Liriano make his first A squad appearance today. I think the only folk we have yet to see have some playing time are Mauer & Cuddyer. I’m starting to get a little overly-excited for baseball season to start!

Yeah, we’re just going to put this down as a bad outing for Liriano…. and my BIG favorite – LOB – yeah, going to have to get Kbro to make me that shirt yet. Seven men left on base is just not ok.. but it looks like Hughes and Dinkelman continue to have good springs. I don’t know that that actually means anything but it has to be better than a bad spring!

Apparently not even any audio via MLB (not that I have much luck listening over the web at the office anyway). Guess it’s GameDay or nothing, today.

Yeah, I think the technical term for Liriano’s performance today is “butt ugly” and Hoey certainly didn’t help his chances. It looks like Matt Capps and Dusty Hughes pitched well, though. And speaking of “Hughes”, the Luke version got dinger #3. Have to start wondering if he might make a serious challenge for Matt Tolbert’s utility IF job. Denard with a couple of hits today, too.
