Ok, I’m just going to pretend that yesterday was one big April Fool’s joke and the REAL Twins will be back out to play today.

Sigh…when’s the *home* opener?
I don’t think anyone expected to go 162-0… but at this point, I’ll breathe a sigh of relief when it’s no longer mathematically possible to go 0-162. No aspect of this team looks anything but terrible, through the first two games.
I want to see the HRs by the other team to stop
I dont think any reasonable fan expected us to go 7-0 to start the season (I thought a 3-4 trip would be respectable since we have a tough time against Tor and NYY)…its looking more like a 2-5 or 1-6 trip to start the season
Im not panicking or trying to be nagetive..still lots of season left…but these two games of LONG home runs and not much offense by us is a bit frustrating
To be honest, while the consensus is that Pavano and Liriano are far and away the Twins’ top two pitchers, I’m not convinced. Liriano has all the talent in the world and neither he nor the coaches seem to have any idea how to get it out of him on the mound on a consistent basis. Pavano is what he is… an aging workhorse that you cross your fingers and hope he’ll find a way to get outs.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the Baker, Duensing and Blackburn trio can do.
