		<description><![CDATA[Yeah, if DY had actually ripped a gapper, I&#039;d have felt a bit more inclined to support his BOD candidacy. But he pretty much benefited by hitting the ball poorly to one of the few outfielders much worse defensively than he is himself. 

Watching the replay, though, I was really impressed by the job Mauer did running the bases. By the time the cameraman caught up to the flight of the ball in to RF, Mauer was already rounding 2B. Naturally, he was running on the 3-2 pitch with 2 outs, but he obviously wasn&#039;t just going through the motions. He was flying (or as close to flying as Joe is capable of).

But 9 straight outs by Capps/Nathan was impressive, to me.]]></description>
