I'm not going to complain about an embarrassment of riches.

And there are some roster moves that I can't say would feel all that disastrous to me. Currently on the active roster on the pitching side (things have been so chaotic for this team that I actually had to look it up): Alex Burnett--flashes of promise, flashes of...not promise...and still six weeks away from his 23rd birthday. Phil Dumatrait, whose name neither I nor the announcers have gotten down yet. Jim Hoey and Chuck James, both doing their job as journeyman guys stashed down at AAA for emergencies. Jose Mijares, not being effective.

Okay, the catcher decision is a tough one. I'll give you that.

For the rest of the field, Dinkelman and Tosoni have been true AAA fill-in types. Repko hasn't heated up with the rest of the Red Wings. And Tolbert may be having a hot streak, but I don't think this one streak somehow printed "Superstar" on his forehead. Keep Ben Revere as the fourth-and-a-half outfielder (with Kubel as the half, since I don't see fielding to be a major role for him when there are fewer than 1,239,462,109 outfielders on the DL).
