But a good recipe is more than a bunch of high-quality ingredients. Those ingredients have to compliment one another or the final result will still taste like crap. My concern is that, right now, we’ve got a pretty tasty dish… and while the returning ingredients have been high-quality in the past, some of them have been up on the shelf a while. Hope they haven’t lost their flavor.

But Nishioka is supposed to be an All Star level infielder, and we all know Mauer is a great hitter and excellent catcher. If winning is finding a good recipe, we’re about to add some very high-quality ingredients to the mixing bowl.
