I think they have to bring him to Ft. Myers and hope he improved over the winter. I was very sceptical last year when he showed up two weeks early for ST. He refused to wear a Twins jersey or a Twins cap. Instead he wore his sponsor’s capris (Yup, Effing capris) and worked out by himself in a back field preening for the Japan press and collecting big yen from his sponsor, which I refuse to name. I knew right there and then that Nishi was a fraud.
