His sleeves are shorter, and he’s looking more confident and more bulked up than ever as the camera angle from below his waist looking up shows him acknowledging the applause to the people in the sunny stands.

Braun steps to the plate. The camera, now over third base, catches the pitch. Braun rips one down the third base line…and rips off Danny Valencia’s head, which rolls slowly into right field.

There is silence in the stands… And then mayhem, as Braun takes second base, acknowledging the mad cheers.

(Sorry, I may be watching too much Spartacus.)
