		<description><![CDATA[First, I have to say that Spring Training baseball is the greatest thing ever. I drove with my family from Colorado to Arizona to see a few games (and the Grand Canyon). 

Since the last time I&#039;ve commented here, I and some college friends have started a sports/humor blog, so I thought I would see how possible it was to get a media credential to one of the games. I hounded the Dbacks media guy by email from the moment I had the idea (a month before the trip) right through the fifth inning of the actual game that I was attending. Finally, after the game is over, he writes back, saying, &quot;Come get your credential in the media office.&quot;

I literally ran to get my credential in time to interview a pitcher named Charles Brewer in the clubhouse. (He&#039;s since been optioned to the AA Mobile BayBears.) I&#039;m pretty sure that spring training is the only time that could happen, but it&#039;s not going to stop me from trying to get a pass to interview Jamie Moyer at a Rockies game.
