Cool, no doubt. I saw the Snappers once – in 2007. I remember we were looking for Chris Parmelee, who had the biggest hype. (Do not remember anymore if he played.) I see now Valencia, Benson, and Wilson Ramos were also on that team.

Seth, I’ve seen a lot of future Angels and, before that, future Reds come through Cedar Rapids and I said two years ago that I had never seen a ballplayer like Mike Trout. I stand by that assessment. I’ll be shocked if he isn’t an All-Star for years to come.

I made my first trip to Beloit in 2010, in June, I believe. Hendriks had been sent up to Ft. Myers a month earlier. I saw Dozier play on the Friday night, but he was promoted following the game, and I saw Danny Santana’s first Beloit game the next morning.

and yes, I saw Mike Trout play for Cedar Rapids, and he was far and away the best player on the field.
