Rosario hasn’t even played for several weeks. I think maybe he had his first rehab game today in Ft Myers (GCL). They’re going to have to get him some fall/winter ball games at 2B if they want to move him up to Advanced A next year and stay at that position. Depending on what Terry Ryan does with regard to trades this offseason, I wonder if they won’t put Rosario back in CF next year.

Michael possibly should have been given half a season in Beloit. He really needed to have some success to kick start his career. Then again, I don’t think the Twins had much for alternatives to assign to the Miracle to play SS either.

Paul,
Don’t forget that Rosario has only recently been moved from the outfield to second base. Obviously he’s young and raw, but if he keeps hitting and can turn into a serviceable player a second he’s much more valuable, especially given the Twins’ dearth of MI prospects.

I don’t know if Eddie Rosario is going to stick at 2B. He’s an athlete, but his infield skills have not been good this year (although he has committed signifcantly fewer errors than Sano). Levi is young, I look for him to continue a solid second half and to come back in 2013 a much better hitter at the plate. It would be fun to see Sano, Michael and Rosario on the same team next year in Ft. Myers.
