As a lifelong Twins fan and living in Waterloo, IA (less than an hour from Cedar Rapids), this is development is getting the best of both worlds for me. I attend several games a year, especially when Beloit came to town.

Vets is a beautiful and fan friendly ball park. I have been to Pohlman park in Beloit as well. What an upgrade in facilities.

Besides I saw Joe Mauer play in first game ever played in the new Vets in 2002. He signed a ball for me and couldn’t have been friendlier.

I would encourage all fellow Twins fans to come to CR and check it out.
