As for the coaching changes, when these things happen, it’s seldom the case that everyone let go is really to blame or that everyone to blame is actually let go. The bottom line is this has been a bad team for 2 years and changes had to be made. It doesn’t mean the men let go are bad people or even terrible at their jobs. It’s just hard to fire 25 players. If Gardy and Andy feel they dodged a bullet, they’re right. But there’s definitely a target on their backs headed in to 2013 and there’s a pretty good chance that their potential replacements are going to be on the Big League staff next season.

I guess it was bound to happen. I know a lot of folks have been calling for Gardy’s head on a pike, I guess we shall see if this coaching shake up helps turn things around next year.
