Congratulations, Babs and Andrew!

It was awfully considerate of Major League Baseball to schedule an off-day in the World Series schedule so that CapitalBabs could get married tonight, wasn’t it?

I’m having some internet connection issues at home so I’m not sure how much I’ll be around through the rest of the World Series anyway, but I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to congratulate Babs and Andrew on their wedding this evening. I hope the weather is holding up and that everyone in attendance has a great time. I have no doubt that such will be the case.

For the rest of us, who are not able to attend the festivities in person, please join me in wishing the happy couple all the best as they embark on their journey through life as one.

For my part, I will wrap up this post with this little quote from one of my favorite authors:

You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. – Dr. Seuss.

Much happiness to both of you from all of your friends here at Knuckleballs.

  1. This is what happens when you get in a hurry. A guy tries to do the right thing and he screws up. Ah well. At least with my internet being down, I won’t be around to catch as much crap about this as I deserve!

  2. Thanks guys! It was an amazing day and Andrew (not Brian) is very happy!

(Of course I could be wrong, the Brian I used to date could be very happy that it wasn’t him that married me…. but he did wish me well!)

At any rate, you guys are still stuck with us since we aren’t going on our honeymoon until Spring Training. Appropos, no? It also means that JC is entirely correct about MLB giving me a very considerate night off – I should be back watching baseball tonight although there are family things going on for relatives in town. I’ll try to be sure to get a chat up since JC’s schedule is problematic.

  3. Wonderful photo. Congratulations and best wishes. Especial congratulations to Andrew for marrying a baseball fan!
