ST – Twins @ Cardinals, 12:05 pm, MLB.tv only

Unbelievable that on a weekend when some people might actually be able to WATCH or at least participate in a spring training game, there is no TV OR radio broadcast.  I don’t understand how they make these broadcast decisions because FSN is showing the next two Monday games in a row on television for you – while most of you are at work.  I can’t put my finger on why this spring is frustrating me more than most but I think it’s not just the lack of availability but the scheduling of what they did decide on.  [/Venting]

I guess it’s all just building my anticipation for the regular season, right?

  1. I share your frustration. I think part of it is that its been a LONG winter and baseball means sunshine and flowers and such. while listening on the radio is great, actually watching the players a few times helping to form an opinion of them. I havent seen Joe Benson, Nishii, Tosoni, and a couple others play.

  2. Yeah it is odd that there’s no radio today. Maybe Gladden didn’t want to make the long trip across the state to Jupiter (this is one of the longest trips the Twins will take all spring).

There was good news today, though… Joe Mauer caught his first bullpen session. Maybe we’ll see him DHing soon! (like maybe Wednesday when I’m down there!) 🙂

  3. Just a note… for anyone, like me, who gets his audio feed from MLB.com instead of the radio, the St Louis radio feed IS available online. Not a perfect solution, but it is what it is.

  4. Span almost got picked off 1B… Pujols wasn’t happy he didn’t get the call.

  5. Oh no… Stache is hurt!

Dumb Cardinal announcers… give me a heart attack! Carl just wanted the mound tended to by the grounds crew cuz he slipped

  6. Neshek enters with bases juiced and 2 out in the 6th. Chance to impress.

    … and gets the K.

    That won’t hurt his chances.

  7. Well I’m not sure whether the stuff that went down the last inning was the fault of the pitcher, James, or the catcher, Rams, but it’s safe to say those two guys didn’t do anything to help one another out that inning.
