There is some good news since my wrap-up earlier today: Repko has been declared ready to go and he’s available tonight AND Thome is feeling better swinging they say he’ll be ready to go tomorrow.
That’s all great.. can we please just score some runs and pitch decently tonight? I’m not even asking for AMAZING! I would just like the baseball gods to grant me something other than a boxscore that makes me bang my head against a wall.

I guess we’re supposed to take some consolation from the fact that the Twins showed some imagination in just how they managed to lose tonight’s game. They didn’t get bludgeoned to death, for a change. Instead, they died of several consecutive papercuts in the 8th inning. But a loss is a loss and they just keep on coming. – JC
