Happily, there is sunshine! No rain, no snow. Of course, it’s also not very warm but I think we’ll hit 50 by game time so here’s game one of today’s double-header. I’m not going to worry about what the temp will be by the end of game two. But after the disappointing run support challenge that the boys presented to Carl Pavano during his fantastic pitching effort on Thursday, here’s hoping they can do a little better for Frankie today.

I blame two things.
1) Laundry – Touched white socks. :O
2)Reading twit comments on CBSports.
What is it with the Twins and day games? The long-timers I know have been blaming the dome (something about catching the ball against the lighter roof) for years . . . clearly that excuse won’t work anymore. So far this season (by my quick calculation) we are 6-7 in Day games (13-4 in Night games) and 4 of the day wins came in the first week of the season when everyone was all amp’d up.
I LOVE day games, but if the team has this much trouble in them I imagine they may schedule fewer and fewer in the future.
Thoughts? or has this already been hashed over?
Will miss the beginning of tonight’s game, but will check in when I get back from the art opening . . .
